Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence – Aeroplane)
The Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence – Aeroplane) is ideal for Students wishing to pursue a career within the Aviation industry. Our experienced and professional Pilot Instructors will guide you through an intensive course of both theory and practical flight training.
No previous flying experience is required.
Our curriculum is developed in line with the stringent regulatory standards of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
Within 2 years you will be completing the training on Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL), Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and be ready to embark on your career in aviation.
Students undertaking these courses will be enrolled at Box Hill Institute (BHI). Soar Advanced Flight Training (SAFT) is contracted by BHI to deliver the training and assessment on BHI’s behalf. After successfully completing this course, CASA Commercial Pilot Licence requirements, and an appropriate level of experience, you may wish to apply for employment opportunities as:

Fees & Financing
VET Student Loans is an Australian government loan scheme available to eligible Diploma students through Box Hill Institute.
Eligibility requirements include that a student must be:
- an Australian citizen; or
- hold a permanent humanitarian visa and usually reside in Australia; or
- be a qualifying New Zealand citizen.
